Our philosophy: If the photographer has chosen to share images on our Facebook Pages; there is an added bonus to be able to participate in other ways.
The aim is to make it as easy as possible to participate as a photographer, and make it easy to buy pictures and photo products from us. At the same time we offer great visibility for photographers – they can showcase their pictures online. Our focus is motifs from Scandinavia and the Nordic area. We reach over one million unique visitors each week through our social channels.
We collaborate with international news- and image agencies, art galleries, advertising agencies, newspapers and book publishers, and more.
SCANDIPIXL applies very generous conditions for photographer percentages, one of the best ones of the whole image bank market. We have chosen Facebook as a channel to simplify the image process and to increase the visibility for the photographers. Our work method provides many talented photographers with a platform to showcase their works to a large audience daily, and creates better opportunities for selling images.
Advantages for photographers who share images on our Facebook Pages:
1. Images that we place in albums and publish become listed in the image bank and are therefore available for sale.
2. Photographers listed in the image bank may be contacted about photo assignments.
3. Photographers who become extra popular on our pages, and share on them frequently, may be contacted about participation in future photo projects such as calendars, posters, photo products, book projects and more.
The image bank is based on photos shared on the Facebook pages NORRLAND. ETT EGET LAND, BOHUS COAST, Swedish Landscapes and SCANDIPIXL. However, not all photos shared on those pages get listed in the image bank. Each photo shared is assessed on quality and composition, and if chosen, the photo is added to the image bank.
You share the photo on ONE of our Facebook Pages.
Please choose one page to share the photo on, do not share it on more than one page. We prefer that you don’t add any text to the photo, such as a web site or a big name. If you add your name, please place it in a bottom corner and as small as possible. Information on your image may result in your image not being chosen for the image bank, or not being shared on the page. We choose which photos are shared, which means all photos are not shared. Share the Norrland photos you are extra proud of. The Facebook Page “Norrland - a land of its own" has the best reach of Facebook Pages in the Nordic counties, when it comes to tourism and photography. Each week, the page reaches more than one million people, in many countries. Share your photos here if you want to reach the maximum amount of viewers.
The aim of the Facebook Page is to showcase all the nine provinces of Norrland. They are: Lappland, Norrbotten, Västerbotten, Ångermanland, Jämtland, Medelpad, Härjedalen, Hälsingland and Gästrikland. Each week, a Photo of the week is chosen from the most liked photos of the week, with the motif and variation taken into consideration. The chosen photo is showcased on the web portal NORRLAND MAGIC for a week and is shared on the Instagram account Norrland Magic.

Share photos you are extra pleased with, depicting Bohuslän and Gothenburg (Göteborg). BOHUS COAST ranks top three in reach among the Facebook pages in the Nordic countries focusing on destinations. Share your photo here if you like to reach many viewers. Focus is the west coast from Gothenburg and northbound up to the Norwegian border, namely Bohuslän.
Focus for the Page is the Gothenburg and Bohuslän areas. The coastal area in Bohuslän is called the Bohus coast. A Photo of the week is chosen from the most liked photos of the week, with the motif and variation taken into consideration.
The chosen photo becomes the cover photo for the week on both the Facebook Page and on the web portal BOHUS COAST and is shared on the Instagram account BOHUS COAST.
